Job Description

We are looking for a Class 2 vacuum tanker driver due to continued expansion. You will be based on our Andover Operating centre, working across the region, occasionally you will be required to support our other depot in Poole which you will receive an enhanced payment for.

You must have a current CPC and driver's card. Additionally, due to insurance constraints, a minimum of two years HGV driving experience is required.

Our work is varied and includes contracts with Wessex Water, Bournemouth International Airport, Southwestern Railways and several other 'Blue Chip' companies as well as domestic septic tanks, cess pits and grease traps for Public Houses and Restaurants.

We have a modern fleet comprising 4, 6 and 8 wheelers with 'one truck, one driver' operation. The current fleet is primarily a mix of Mercedes and Scania with Whale & VJ Engineering Tanks.

Whilst Vacuum tanker experience is preferred, we are happy to provide familiarisation training.

We offer good hourly rates with opportunity for additional overtime, standby and call out earnings at enhanced rates.
Knowledge of Working Time Directive Hours and Tachograph hours is required.
We use a walk around check app and our workflow is on a work phone/tablet so a basic knowledge of technology is a must.
