HGV Tanker Driver (HGV Class 2)

14-18 per hour plus overtime

42.5 hours per week

No on-call!

Metro Rod work with the likes of Tesco, Marks and Spencer, Mitie, Clarion, Axa, Wetherspoons and many more in the FM, Social Housing, Property Management, Retail, Industrial and Leisure sectors. We are now looking for a dedicated and technically skilled individual who wants to develop their engineering careers within this sector and who are committed to providing the most exceptional levels of service to our valued and high-profile customers. Our team is based in Doncaster and this role will cover the South Yorkshire area.

What's involved?

Operating our brand new Bucher Flexline Tanker unit you will deliver our range of Tanker services, keep a clean, well-maintained vehicle all whilst delivering an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise. Predominantly you will be carrying our pre-planned maintenance works and in some cases emergency reactive work. The role reports directly to our Head of Tanker Operations.

The Person...

An experienced HGV Driver Class 2 and with significant sector experience in drainage. Strong communication skills IT Literacy including smart phone technology CSCS, HPWJ, Confined Spaces and associated cards (preferred) A positive, flexible, can-do attitude with a focus on delivering results for our customers Want to be part of an exciting, growing, and progressive business with an increasingly formidable brand presence Be willing to work occasional/unsociable hours Hold a full UK driving licence HGV Class 2 driving license Team player
