Roles and responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for the day to day service, MOT preparation and repairs of our HGV\'s.
• You will keep our HGV\'s safely on the road, so our street side operatives can carry out their duties for our millions of customers.
• Responsible for carrying out routine vehicle inspections, routine maintenance, fault finding and repairs to ensure our fleet is reliable, available and safe.
• Ensure all workshop tools, personal tools and welding equipment must be secured and where possible locked away each night. Welding and electrical equipment should be turned off and left in a safe condition when not in use.
• Attend roadside breakdowns if required and work as part of a team.

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter/Technician ideally with an NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Qualification.
• Hold a HGV driving licence.

Hours: 48 hours per week, rotating shifts:

Early shift: Monday - Friday 05:00 - 15:00

Late shift: Monday - Thursday 13:00 -10.30 (Friday 13:00 - 20:30 & Saturday 07:00 -12:00)

Permanent Role

Location: Cardiff

Salary: \xc2\xa341,623.66 per annum plus Veolia benefits - you will also be eligible for a sign-on and retention bonus of \xc2\xa33,000
