Hgv Technician (night Shift)
Job Description
Due to continued growth, we are seeking skilled HGV technicians to work a permeant night shift at our modern workshop facility. We are a well-established family run business, specialising in the general Haulage around the UK. Recently we have become an approved repairer for IVECO and have opened a 5 bay state of the art modern workshop. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the on-going repair and maintenance to our fleet of vehicles, trailers and third party maintenance.
As an HGV Technician we will be looking for you to be able to demonstrate:
Experienced knowledge
Ability to run Diagnostics and repairs
Conduct Safety Inspections
Run Routine Maintenance
A General mechanical ability
An Enthusiastic, Team Player, Flexible individual.
Duties to include:
Undertaking Vehicle maintenance, servicing and running repairs on a varied fleet (including M.O.T preparation)
Prompt Repair of all defective vehicles to the highest standard
Ensure vehicles are maintained in accordance with the Company Operators License guidelines
Ensure all repairs to company vehicles are carried out in a timely manner
Have an ability to work on their own initiative
Prep & Presentation for VOSA tests
Preventative Maintenance
Fault Diagnostics
All associated paperwork

The position is on a salaried basis, the salary will be dependent upon experience but an ideal candidate can expect an starting Salary of 46,410.00 and the potential to boost this 55,876.00
