We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with curtain-sided vehicles , a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the cargo.

Duties

Operate container, curtain-sided lorries safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of goods for transport. Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery times while considering road conditions and regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Follow all safety protocols to minimise risks during transportation.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence , CPC , DRIVER CARD Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed lorries. Good physical fitness to handle loading and unloading tasks. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
