Tyre Technician
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated tyre Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of tyres on various vehicles. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A back ground in tyre maintenance is essential, We are looking for a candidate who can help out with mechanical repair on the vehicles and trailers when tyres are quiet
Responsibilities
Inspect and assess tyre condition for wear and damage Remove and replace tyres on vehicles, ensuring proper installation techniques are followed Repair punctures and other tyre issues as necessary Maintain accurate records of services performed on each vehicle Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while working in the workshop limited mechanical knowledge Call outs and breakdowns on a Rota
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Tyre technician or in a similar role is preferred Valid driving license; Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools and equipment effectively Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
