The Role

We're looking for experienced

HGV or Specialised Technicians

to join our close-knit manufacturing team. You'll help build our cutting-edge amphibious vehicles at both the structural and mechanical stages.

We have other mechanical-based jobs available. If you are a reliable, detail-oriented individual and have a passion for vehicles, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble HGV engines, gearboxes, heavy-duty suspension, and HV electrical systems Develop processes to integrate HGV components into our amphibious designs Collaborate with marine and automotive engineers to improve build procedures Ensure welding meets safety standards for land and water use Inspect components and flag any defects to the shop foreman Contribute to problem-solving and engineering improvements Assist with testing and development (may involve overtime and travel) Record key data (e.g. torque settings, serial numbers) in the build log Maintain workshop safety, cleanliness, and address any hazards

What You'll Need

Proven experience as an HGV Technician Strong understanding of engines, transmissions, and braking systems Relevant technical certification High mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and within a team Welding, fabrication, or machining skills (advantageous but not essential) Ability to read engineering drawings (preferred) Experience in low-volume vehicle production (preferred) Strong communication and problem-solving skills Full UK driver's licence
