Job Summary:
Nicholls Transport is seeking a dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition. The Vehicle Technician will utilise their mechanical knowledge to perform tasks such as welding, using hand and power tools. Dedicated Fleet of Iveco units. Company van available after probation period.

Previous proven technical experience in working with a large fleet of vehicles.

Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles.
- Weld and assemble vehicle components as needed.
- Use hand and power tools to complete tasks efficiently.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Conduct heavy lifting when necessary.
- Ensure all equipment repairs are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Experience:
- Proven experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to diagnose and fix issues effectively.
- Prior experience in assembling vehicle components.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients professionally.

Pay: 18.00-28.00 per hour
