About The Role

HGV Vehicle Technician

Eastern Avenue, Gloucester

Salary 43,490 - 44,715.39 per annum after a successful probation (including shift allowance & tool allowance)

42 hours per week - Monday to Friday, no scheduled weekends or evenings,
Permanent Contract

About the role...

We are looking for an enthusiastic HGV Vehicle Technician to join our hard-working, highly successful team. Providing excellent front line services across Gloucestershire, Ubico ltd is a rapidly expanding local authority owned Company.



Reporting to the Fleet Workshop & Maintenance Manager, you will carry out inspections, servicing, repairing, maintaining HGV and light vehicles, plant and equipment to required standards in line with Compliance and Health & Safety regulations and procedures.

You will need...



City & Guild Craft Certificate in Motor Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent Experience of understanding vehicle inspections, servicing and repairing of motor vehicles; working on a mixed fleet would be a distinct advantage. Good communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and a flexible approach to work Full valid driving licence Live within 15-mile radius of GL4

Desirable but not essential as training could be provided - HGV Category C Licence
