Newstaff Employment is recruiting HGV1 Drivers in Leighton Buzzard for a leading logistics company. This is an excellent temporary opportunity with immediate starts available, ideal for reliable and professional drivers ready to step into a dynamic role. Both day and night shifts are on offer, providing flexibility and great earning potential.
? Location: Leighton Buzzard
? Salary: 17.00 - 18.00 per hour (PAYE, dependent on shift)
? Working Hours: Day or night trunking | 10-12 hour shifts
? Job Type: Temporary (ongoing work available for the right candidate)

Key Responsibilities

• Operating HGV1 vehicles safely and professionally on trunking routes
• Carrying out deliveries and collections across the region
• Completing delivery logs accurately and maintaining compliance with transport regulations
• Ensuring vehicles are kept clean and reporting any maintenance issues promptly

Essential Skills & Experience

• Valid HGV1 (Category C+E) licence
• CPC and Digital Tachograph (up to date)
• Previous HGV1 driving experience preferred
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet schedules
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Safety-conscious with a professional attitude
