We are seeking a dedicated and skilled self employed HGV1 Tramper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various locations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage flatbed, curtainsider, and fridge deliveries effectively. This position requires reliability and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
Operate HGV1 vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all road traffic regulations.
Conduct pre-journey vehicle checks to ensure the lorry is in good working order.
Load and unload goods securely, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed.
Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery times while considering traffic conditions and regulations.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
Adhere to health and safety standards at all times, promoting a culture of safety within the workplace.
Experience
Valid HGV1 driving licence with a clean driving record, no accidents or incidents.
Previous experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is highly desirable.
Must be over 30.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during deliveries.
