Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled tipper driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting goods or materials. This role requires a valid commercial driving licence cat C, hgv2, and a good understanding of vehicle mechanics to ensure the smooth operation of the vehicle.

Duties

Safely operate vehicles to transport goods or materials to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding routes and schedules. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Perform basic mechanical checks and maintenance on the vehicle as needed. Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring that all items are secured for transport.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence (CPC) is essential. Excellent time management skills with the ability to adhere to tight schedules. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Previous experience in a driving role is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: 15.00-16.00 per hour
