Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in all day-to-day operations in the workshop, ensuring repairs and maintenance works are carried out to the highest standards whilst meeting legislative requirements of the operations. Repair and maintain HGV's and Plant Machinery as directed either on or off site. Assist the safe, efficient, and effective operation of all vehicles. To comply with the company safety regulations, policies, and safe working practices. Communicate effectively with staff/management. Knowledge of MOT preparations Carry out weekly inspections of vehicles.

Required Skills

:

You will have previous experience working as HGV mechanic. Experience with heavy plant and small tools Welding experience Able to work unsupervised and as part of a team. Punctual, hard-working, 'can do' attitude.

Health & Safety

Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and report any malpractice. Report all accidents, incidents,
You will also have a full, clean driving licence.
Required NVQ Level 2 or NVQ level 3 in HGV

Job Type: Full-time
