About the Role:

We are currently seeking a

hands-on Mechanical Engineer

to join our busy competence centre based in North Manchester. In this role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing faults, performing repairs, and maintaining high-pressure water jetting equipment and associated components--primarily workshop-based, with occasional travel to customer sites for on-site support.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical repairs on high-pressure water jetting systems and accessories Service and maintain water jetting equipment driven by combustion engines and electric motors Provide on-site technical support and product demonstrations when required Maintain the workshop, tools, and storage areas to a high standard Occasionally attend customer sites for service jobs (typically day trips only)

Essential Requirements:

Proven mechanical experience from

vehicle, truck, construction, agricultural, or plant machinery sectors

Strong ability to diagnose and repair

diesel/petrol engines

,

hydraulic systems

, and

electrical faults

Experience with

trailer maintenance and repair

Full UK driving licence (clean) Practical and solution-focused with good communication and customer interaction skills A background in

high-pressure water jetting

or

pump systems

is desirable, but not essential--training will be provided
