Higher Education Academic Skills Coach



Hours:

26 hours per week / 52 weeks per year


Salary:

20,453 - 21,694 Actual / 29,106 - 30,991 FTE (depending on qualifications and experience)

We are excited to offer this opportunity for a motivated and passionate Higher Education Academic Skills Coach to join our team.


In this role you will:



Support and empower learners by managing a caseload of HE apprentices and adult learners, creating tailored action plans to help them succeed. Design and deliver engaging workshops and lectures on key academic skills topics. Provide one-to-one and small group coaching, guiding students to understand feedback, set goals, and improve academic performance. Monitor progress and impact through regular tutorials and action plan reviews. Ensure compliance and accuracy by recording key data.

What you will bring to the role:



A degree-level qualification Proven experience working with adults with learning differences and delivering teaching or coaching in a Higher Education environment. Excellent communication and presentation skills, strong IT competence, and the ability to relate to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
