Contract Type: Permanent, Fractional, 29.6 hours per week, 52 weeks per year


Location: Paignton, Devon





The Higher Education Admissions and Quality Senior Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the smooth operation of Higher Education (HE) services at University Centre South Devon. This role is responsible for coordinating and administering key processes across student admissions, enrolment and quality assurance, ensuring that all activities are carried out efficiently and in line with institutional policies and regulatory requirements. A significant part of the role includes managing the admissions process, supporting students with applications, enrolment, and student finance, and serving as a key point of contact for advice. The post-holder will support in maintaining outward-facing course information ensuring accuracy and compliance.



In addition to admissions and enrolment, the Higher Education Admissions and Quality Senior Coordinator is instrumental in enhancing the student experience through effective student engagement and representation. This includes organising Student Consultative Forums, coordinating Student Ambassadors and Representatives, and facilitating student voice initiatives.



The role is integral to the quality assurance of the Colleges Higher Education provision and ensuring adherence to academic regulations through supporting the Annual Programme Monitoring process alongside curriculum teams, supporting with data reconciliation and reporting of marks at Panel and Board meetings, and supporting with the accuracy of documentation to ensure compliance.



This role will also support our non-standard and Higher Apprenticeship provision with admissions process, delivery schedules and compliance with HE quality processes.
