Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Job Description
Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work in an SEND school based in South Liverpool. This position is due to start ASAP and will continue for a minimum of 1 term, with a longer term contract on offer with the school for the right candidate.
About the role:
Your duties as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant will include supporting the class teacher and leading small groups of students. Under the direction of the teacher, you will be required to plan, deliver and assess students work. You will also be required to cover PPA once a week.
About the School:
The school is an SEND school based in South Liverpool, educating children from EYFS up to Key Stage 5. They support children with an Autism diagnosis, along with other associated communication, social and learning difficulties.
To be considered for this role you must:
- Have a recognised HLTA qualification or be an ECT looking for more classroom experience
- Be passionate about seeing children improve and succeed
- Have a CV that covers your full educational and employment history (all gaps must be explained)
- Have the legal right to work in the UK
