We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support students across the curriculum, with a focus on inclusion, literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development. This is a vital role for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact in a secondary school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Support individual and small groups of students to improve engagement and learning outcomes Plan and deliver 1:1 and small group literacy and numeracy sessions Assist teaching staff with differentiated resources and whole-class teaching Work closely with pastoral teams, families, and external support services Provide targeted support to students with SEND Promote a positive and inclusive school culture Contribute to curriculum support and after-school interventions
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: 120.00-140.00 per day
Experience:
HLTA: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
Enhanced DBS (required)
Work Location: In person
Expected start date: 01/09/2025
