We are seeking to appoint a HLTA to support students both in class and to deliver
interventions to small groups within the school/SEND/Maths faculty.
This innovative and successful 11-18 school first opened in September 2004 and has grown year on year. The school currently has over 1500 students in Y7-13, has excellent facilities and is a dynamic learning community.
Applications are invited from people who have the following skills & experience:
Enthusiasm and a desire to learn;
The ability to encourage students to become independent;
Planning and delivering Numeracy/Maths to small groups across KS3 and KS4
Knowledge of a range of SEND profiles and how to support them
Leading small groups, supporting student's personalised learning programmes
Line managing a small team in the day-to-day planning and deployment.
Applicants will need to have had experience as a Learning Associate/Teaching Assistant
Applicants should be prepared to provide personal care for students with disabilities.
Job Details
Salary:
Grade 6 - 27,254 - 28,598 (pro-rata). Progression to Grade 8 on completion of HLTA qualification.
