Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a specialist Tier 4 national forensic All Wales forensic service for children and adolescents. The Forensic Adolescent and Consultation Service (FACS) is commissioned by the Joint Commissioning Committee (JCC) and is hosted by Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board. We offer specialist consultation to services supporting children who present with high risk, complex needs and vulnerability. You will join other psychologists within the team and work alongside an experienced and supportive multi-disciplinary team, with wider connections from the developing and expanding CTM Psychological Professions community.



We are looking to welcome a Highly Specialist (Child) Psychologist into our service who can provide:



a highly specialist consultation service to youth justice services in Wales, providing multi-agency team formulation through the model of Enhanced Case Management (ECM). exercise a high level of forensic mental health psychology expertise in supporting children within youth justice and CAMHS implement service development changes within the area by the service and facilitate service improvement through audit, research and training activities. be responsible for a caseload of children open to the service, working to support their multi-agency system in managing children's risk of harm to self and others.
