Job Description

We are seeking dynamic and compassionate Clinical Psychologists to join our Early Intervention Service (EIS). The roles offer a unique opportunity to apply a diverse skill set in a multifaceted environment, contributing significantly to the delivery of evidence-based interventions and service development.



We welcome applications from final-year trainee Clinical Psychologists eligible for HCPC registration upon training completion. This preceptorship position starts at Band 7, with a structured development plan to progress to Band 8a. You will receive mentorship and supervision from experienced CBTp therapists and Clinical Psychologists within the EIS, providing an excellent foundation for those passionate about psychosis and eager to develop their skills in a dynamic team environment.

Key Responsibilities:



Clinical Excellence:

Provide specialist psychological assessments and interventions, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for psychosis (CBTp) and Family Interventions (FI), aligning with NICE guidelines.

Professional Development:

Engage in continuous professional development to enhance competencies in CBTp, FI, and related interventions. Participate in therapy-specific supervision and benefit from peer support within the EIS network.

Innovation and Research:

Contribute to service development initiatives, audits, and research projects. Our trust supports and encourages involvement in research, with psychosis being a priority area.

Leadership and Supervision:

Offer supervision and guidance to junior staff, fostering a culture of learning and excellence within the team.
