Job Description

Significant experience is essential:

Assessment skills and working holistically with young people/adults and their families Multi-agency working and the ability to work alongside the MDT in carrying out interventions and therapy A working knowledge of Autism and the ability to support the development of individual Autism profiles A working knowledge of the Model of Human Occupation, its application and related assessments is essential, as is the ability to work alongside the MDT in carrying out therapeutic interventions. Knowledge and experience of applying a sensory integration frame of reference is also desirable to this role. Good working knowledge of Autism and mental health is essential for this role, as well as evaluating outcomes from assessment and interventions, through using both team and occupational therapy outcome measures. Experience in service development and supervision of others is essential.
