Are you an experienced physiotherapist with a passion for cardiac rehabilitation ? We have an exciting opportunity for a Highly Specialist Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team, playing a key role in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services to patients recovering from myocardial infarction (MI), revascularisation procedures (PCI/CABG), and heart failure in particular to develop the exercise component of the service.



This role may be ideal for someone looking for a secondment opportunity to gain experience in service development and cardiac rehabilitation.

About You



We are looking for a motivated physiotherapist with:



? HCPC registration and a degree in Physiotherapy .

? Experience in cardiac rehabilitation , exercise prescription, and patient assessment.

? Strong leadership skills with experience in service development and staff supervision .

? Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to engage patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.

? A passion for delivering high-quality, evidence-based rehabilitation care.



As a Highly Specialist Physiotherapist, you will:



? Lead the assessment, planning, and delivery of safe and effective exercise programs in line with BACPR Standards and NICE guidelines .

? Support patients across onsite, community, online, and home-based rehabilitation settings, promoting long-term recovery and preventing hospital readmissions.

? Provide specialist advice to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals, ensuring a patient-centred approach.

? Take a leadership role in service development, modernization, and expansion , contributing to strategic planning and policy implementation.

? Supervise and support the training, development, and recruitment of staff within the service.

? Work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the continuous improvement of cardiac rehabilitation services.



North Mid is part of North Central London integrated care system - consisting of the NHS and Local authority organisations in Camden, Islington, Barnet, Enfield and Haringey. As with other ICS's, we are working increasingly closely with partners and indeed many of our financial and performance objectives are measured at this system level. Whilst all organisations remain as standalone, statutory bodies we have an ICS infrastructure for making shared decisions and agreeing shared approaches.
