Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Main duties and responsibilities Provide interventions in formed by NICE Guidance and Royal College of Speech and Language Therapy (RCSLT) guidelines as well as other relevant local and national drivers. Responsible for prioritising own workload, allocation of work to oneself and other staff, and to cover all levels of priority of work within the service. Provide specific communication assessments and advice, as part of the assessment process, culminating in an agreed plan of action and or care and intervention. This would include the use of recognised/agreed standardised Speech and Language Therapy assessment tools alongside profession specific and generic outcome measures.
