Location: Various Edinburgh, Lothians & Borders School Sites (Travel Required)

Start Time: As early as 7:30 AM

Are you a confident, child-friendly photographer with a great eye and even better people skills? We're looking for a

High-Volume School Photographer

to join our busy team capturing bright smiles and lasting memories at schools across the region.

What You'll Do:

Capture high-quality portraits and group photos of students, ensuring natural expressions and relaxed poses. Engage with children of all ages--keeping them comfortable, cheerful, and smiling. Set up your gear efficiently and work to a tight schedule with minimal retakes. Deliver great images in camera*--no post-processing required.
Represent our brand with professionalism and energy at every shoot.

What You Need:

Your own transport

to travel to multiple school sites.

Your own photography gear

, including: A DSLR or mirrorless camera. Zoom lenses covering at least the 50-100mm range for portraits (prime lenses

not

acceptable). Wider-range lenses for group shots. At least

one studio light

(flash not continuous). Bonus points if you have: Your own background supports, additional lights & stands. A spare camera body. A current DBS check or the knowledge that nothing would exclude you from being able to obtain one

We always provide at least one assistant, and often a lead administrator, to run the day and manage logistics--so

you can focus on engaging with the children and capturing great images

Pay & Scheduling:

Short trial period

, after which rates rise to

. Most shoots are

completed before 1pm

Nice to Have:

Previous high-volume photography experience (e.g., school, sports, events). Not essential--we can train the right person!
