An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Highway Management Officer to join the Highway Management Team in Swansea Council. The role will be varied, assisting with day to day with the Highway Management Function, including the collection of information on-site and consultation with statutory bodies and other interested parties.


The Highway Management Officer will be responsible to undertake the duties on behalf of the Highway Authority in accordance with the Highway Act 1980.


The successful candidate will have significant experience in delivering great customer service skills and have a meticulous attention to detail and analytical aptitude. You need to be able to handle multiple task threads at the same time, as well as being able to work to tight deadlines. The ability to maintain accurate administrative records is essential.
