Part-Time Highway Operative (Zero-Hour Contract) - NRSWA Qualified



We are looking to recruit flexible, part-time

Highway Operatives

on a

zero-hour basis

to support our team with ongoing highway maintenance projects in the local area.

This role is ideal for experienced operatives looking for flexible work to suit their availability, with hours offered based on project requirements.

Based in Darwen - working across local sites

Pay:

12.21-14 per hour (depending on experience)

Start Date:

Immediate

Schedule:

Flexible hours offered as work becomes available

Main Duties:



Assisting with routine and reactive

highway maintenance

Completing kerbing, flagging, and

ironworks repairs

Supporting reinstatement and surfacing works Ensuring all work meets health & safety and quality standards

Essential Requirements:



Valid NRSWA (Street Works) qualification essential

CSCS Card

Experience in highways, construction or groundworks

Desirable:



Class 2 or Class 1 HGV Licence Experience with plant or machinery Manual handling or first aid training
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
