You'll be joining our

Highways

team, as the UK's number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.

What will you be doing?





Plan and schedule highways maintenance works to ensure smooth delivery and minimal disruption.



Supervise operatives and supply chain teams to maintain high performance standards.



Order plant, materials and book road space for efficient project execution.



Prepare works packs with all Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental documentation.



Manage site operations ensuring safety, compliance and quality control.



Monitor budgets and costs with accurate forecasting and change management.



Lead inductions, briefings and inspections to maintain safety culture.



Oversee depot upkeep and emergency response including winter maintenance.


What you'll bring



A team player with strong collaborative skills, able to engage, guide and influence colleagues, clients and suppliers. Strong communication skills, including verbal, written reports andpresentations. Basic IT skills, with the ability to use Word, Excel and works management systems to manage data and produce reports. High attention to detail with persistence to see tasks through. Knowledge and experience in delivering highways works. CSCS / CPCS - essential. Proven experience in managing people - able to motivate, coach, support, challenge and handle difficult conversations.
