Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated Hijama/Cupping Practitioner to join our holistic health team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional cupping therapy, specialising in Hijama, to promote physical and emotional well-being. This role offers an opportunity to utilise traditional healing techniques within a supportive environment, helping clients achieve optimal health through natural therapies. The practitioner must possess a compassionate approach, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of safety protocols to ensure client comfort and safety.

Duties



Perform Hijama (cupping therapy) sessions in accordance with recognised health and safety standards. Conduct thorough consultations to assess client needs and medical history prior to treatment. Explain the benefits, procedures, and aftercare instructions clearly to clients. Maintain a clean, organised treatment area and sterilise equipment between sessions. Keep accurate records of treatments administered and client progress. Provide personalised advice on lifestyle, diet, and wellness practices to support ongoing health improvements. Stay informed about the latest developments in cupping therapy and holistic health practices through continuous professional development. Ensure compliance with all relevant health regulations and ethical guidelines.

Experience



Proven experience as a Hijama or cupping therapist is preferred; relevant certification or training is essential. Knowledge of traditional healing techniques and modern health standards. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients. Strong organisational skills to manage appointments effectively. Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of professionalism and confidentiality. Previous experience working within a complementary or alternative medicine setting is advantageous but not mandatory for entry-level practitioners willing to undertake training. Note that this is a self employed role and paid by commission not hourly rate

Pay: 13.00 per hour
