Hillmount is currently seeking an experienced and organised
Chef
to join our busy kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef looking to enjoy a better work-life balance with
daytime hours.
In this varied role, you will be responsible for running the kitchen and working closely with front-of-house staff to ensure a smooth breakfast and lunch service.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes
Managing kitchen operations during service
Ensuring compliance with
HACCP
,
food safety
, and
health & safety
regulations
Monitoring and maintaining stock levels
Maintaining high standards of
cleanliness and hygiene
Performing general cleaning and kitchen maintenance duties
Assisting with other duties as required
Food Preparation Includes:
Soups, stews, and hot dishes (e.g. roast beef, chicken & broccoli bake)
Scones, pavlovas, and dessert decoration
Salads, quiches, baked potatoes, sandwiches, and paninis
Basic baking and pastry skills
will be an advantage in this role.
Additional Requirements:
You
must be able to work across our Hillmount Bangor, Newtownards, and Carrick
locations to provide cover during staff holidays or sickness when required.
