HIMI, a modern Japanese-inspired restaurant in London, is looking for a reliable and hardworking

Kitchen Assistant / Prep Chef

to join our friendly back-of-house team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys kitchen work, takes pride in organisation and cleanliness, and wants to develop their skills in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:



Preparing ingredients to support the chefs during service Assisting with dish preparation Packing away and organising deliveries Maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen at all times Carrying out routine cleaning duties Conducting basic food safety and hygiene checks Completing pre-opening preparation tasks

What We're Looking For:



A positive attitude and willingness to learn Good attention to detail Ability to work efficiently and follow instructions Understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety (training can be provided) Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not essential
