Role Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the company at a crucial time as we look to expand. We are seeking a driven and competent individual to join our team as our Hire Coordinator to be based at our Evesham head office.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for dealing with incoming hire enquiries. As the first point of contact for Woodlands Power you will play a critical role in setting a professional and friendly tone with our clients by quickly understanding customer applications and providing first-class advice and customer service.
You will be pivotal within the company's hire process, quoting and coordinating projects and nurturing enquiries to help increase conversion rates.
This is a full-time role for a Hire Coordinator. The Hire Coordinator will be responsible for growing & managing relationships with our clients, also responsible for analysing data to identify new customer opportunities, improve client satisfaction and growth.
This role is an office-based role, with occasional customer/site visits where required.
Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities
You will have great telephone manner and be responsible for dealing with inbound enquiries from new and existing customers.
You will confidently discuss customer applications, draft quotes and send email correspondence quickly and efficiently and ensure these are recorded on the company CRM system and database.
Ensure correspondence and quotations are accurate, well-presented and reflect the customer's true requirements.
Nurture incoming leads. Provide exceptional advice and customer service, maximising conversion rates, leading to improved revenue.
Follow up outstanding enquiries and make outbound calls when required.
Pro-active in sharing company updates & actively participate in company social media campaigns.
Attend customer meetings to build relationships with current and prospective customers, both via conference calls and occasionally face to face.
Support the company's 24/7 operation and participate in an on-call Rota, where applicable.
Ensure orders are processed efficiently and are coordinated with Woodlands' operations team to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Administration - answering phone calls, producing account forms, and maintaining customer records.
Provide weekly enquiry reports to the Commercial Director.
Once established learn the sales and service side of the business to support those departments when required.

xperience/ skills required:
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, comfortable engaging on appropriate social media channels (i.e., LinkedIn).
Commercial awareness - you will need to understand how your role relates to the company's wider business objectives.
Elevated level of attention to detail.
Excellent planning, time management and organising skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and without constant supervision.
A basic level of technical knowledge (electrical or mechanical) to enable discussion of generator rental and sales applications and provide good advice.
Experience of a rental/hire business (ideally industrial generators) or a capital equipment sales environment would be useful, but not essential.
Proficient with MS office suite and experience of routinely using CRM systems, MS Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel would be preferable.
Clean driving license.
Qualifications:
GCSE in English and Maths
Basic technical training (electrical or mechanical) or understanding would be preferable.
