to join our Birmingham depot. You'll be the first point of contact for customers, handling hire enquiries, coordinating transport, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Handle incoming hire requests via phone and email.
Provide accurate equipment availability and pricing information.
Schedule deliveries and collections with the transport team.
Liaise with engineers and depot staff to ensure equipment readiness.
Maintain hire records and update systems accurately.
Build strong relationships with customers and support repeat business.
Assist with resolving customer queries and issues promptly.
Requirements
Experience in hire desk, customer service, or logistics (powered access or plant hire preferred).
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Strong IT skills (experience with hire management systems is a plus).
A proactive and customer-focused attitude.
