Your Responsibilities

Customer Engagement

: Handle inbound and outbound calls and emails, building strong relationships with our customers

Sales Excellence

: Negotiate and convert hire enquiries into orders while identifying cross-selling opportunities

Problem Solving

: Understand customer requirements, interpret product specifications, and recommend the best solutions

Order Fulfilment

: Ensure accurate processing of orders from enquiry to delivery, adhering to company standards

Team Collaboration

: Work closely with colleagues across departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction

What We're Looking For

Sales/Customer Service Experience

: Proven experience in a hire desk, or customer service role (preferably within the hire industry, though training will be provided)

Communication Skills

: A confident, professional telephone manner and excellent interpersonal abilities to build rapport with clients and colleagues

Sales Expertise

: Strong negotiation and persuasion skills

Product Knowledge

: The ability to quickly learn and understand product specifications and customer requirements (full training will be provided)

Attention to detail: To succeed in this role, you need to have a strong attention to detail & be driven by process.*

Problem Solver

: Solution-oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment

Tech & Systems Proficiency:

Proficient in Microsoft Office, you will quickly learn our hire management system. Attention to detail and basic maths skills are essential for calculating customer quotes.
