What You'll Be Doing

As the new Hire Manager, you will be the driving force behind the success of our Norfolk Broadland branch. You'll lead a team of 17 people and oversee a fleet that includes two HGVs and two tool hire vehicles.


Your main responsibilities will be:

Crushing Sales Goals:

Develop and execute a winning sales action plan to exceed targets through a proactive sales approach.

Leading the Team:

Motivate, train, and inspire your team to deliver exceptional performance and outstanding customer service.

Ensuring Safety:

Uphold the highest standards of health and safety, ensuring all equipment is in excellent condition and the work environment is secure.

Optimizing Operations:

Manage stock levels and coordinate with the wider Travis Perkins branch to ensure seamless integration and communication.

Delivering Top Service:

Be the go-to person for customer inquiries, offering expert advice and smart solutions.

This is a key role that requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a busy, high-energy environment.

Who You Are

You are a

sales-focused, customer-centric

individual with a proactive mindset. You have a solid background in tool or plant hire, or in a similar sales or leadership role. You are a natural motivator who knows how to inspire a team and get the best out of everyone. A strong understanding of health and safety is essential.
