About the Role
As
Hire Manager
at our new Swansea branch, you'll lead a motivated team and drive success. This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused, sales-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. If you enjoy taking charge, inspiring others, and making a real impact, this role is for you. The successful candidate will join us immediately to be part of the branch opening.
Your key responsibility will be developing and delivering a sales plan that exceeds targets. You'll also help integrate Hire into the wider Travis Perkins branch, sharing your expertise with colleagues and providing coaching and training where needed.
Based in a busy branch, you'll lead a team of 3 people within the Hire Team and there is on new Beavertail HGV vehicle for the use of the Hire Team. You will be part of a team of 25 people within the new Swansea branch and with a loyal customer base and a high-energy environment, you'll have the resources to succeed and shine.

Working Hours
: Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm, plus 2 Saturdays every 4 weeks (8:00 am - 12:00 pm)

Hit Sales Targets
: Develop and deliver a proactive sales plan to exceed goals

: Support the team with knowledge, training, and guidance
Maintain Equipment
: Ensure all tools and machinery are safe and ready for use
Manage Stock
: Keep stock levels balanced to meet demand
Lead the Team
: Supervise, motivate, and develop your team

: Handle customer queries and offer effective solutions
Communicate Effectively
: Keep the branch and team informed with clear updates
Who You Are
Experience
:Tool hire, plant hire, leadership, sales, or customer service experience is ideal
Leader
: Confident in inspiring and motivating a team
Safety-Focused
: Prioritises safe equipment and work practices
Proactive
: Enjoys improving processes and thrives in a busy environment
