Job Title: Hire / Service Administrator
Based in Waltham Abbey, we are a Plant Hire company offering machine hire and haulage to the construction industry. Our office is an extremely fast paced environment and only getting quicker so the successful candidate will need to be capable to be on the ball.
Our Plant office comes under a lot of stress on a daily basis so you will be offering support by completing several tasks, most of which are explained below.
Duties:
- Assist the hire and service desks with daily administrative operations
- Data inputting using our specialist hire system, Syrinx.
- Maintain and update company databases and filing systems
- Respond to emails in good fashion and in a timely manner
- Answer phone calls to support the hire and service desks
- Provide administrative support to staff members
Skills:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel is favourable but not necessary
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
