Role purpose:

Working as part of a small team, the role holder will take control of equipment hires process from enquiry to delivery, off hire and collection ensuring excellent customer service in line with CRJ's policies and practices.

Purpose:

Acts as the main point of contact between the Hires and Operations Department (Workshop, Service and Transport) regarding equipment requirements, availability, performance, and logistics and escalate any issues as appropriate to head of Department. Acts as the main point of contact between the Hires and the rest of the Sales Team. Provides excellent customer service by maintaining effective communication with the customer at all times in relation to pre, during and post hire. Prepare agreed weekly reports for hires manager on hire activity. Carries out appropriate administration involved in hiring equipment to customers, including customer enquires, providing advice on the most suitable hire unit, opening customer accounts and raising appropriate hire documentation. Maintains On Rent and CRM systems in relation to the hire of equipment. Acts in accordance with CRJ Company Values at all times: One Team: Customer First: Deliver the Best.

The Person:

Proven experience in a similar role or industry will be preferable. Extremely well organised with a keen eye for detail. Ability to learn quickly. A passion for customer service Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal abilities. Must be able to work cross functionally. A proactive problem solver. Good IT Skills including Excel, Word and Powerpoint. CRM experience would be beneficial. A full UK driving licence.
