We are seeking to appoint a History Teacher (Plus Additional Responsibility) or a Second Department, who is totally aligned to our values of Hard Work, Integrity and Kindness and who strives for Excellence in everything they do. History is a popular subject across all year groups and delivers a broad, diverse, and engaging curriculum, within a well-resourced department. Through powerful knowledge, our students are inspired, challenged, and make excellent progress. We are immensely proud of our recent exam results: 16% students gained a grade 9, 46% students gained grades 7-9, 87% students gained grades 9-4.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced teacher, who is ready for the next step in their career or an existing Second in department who is looking for a new challenge. The Bridge Academy opened in September 2007. We educate 900 students in Years 7-11, and our Sixth Form caters for 250 students in Year 12 - 13. Our specialist subjects, Music and Mathematics, sit alongside a broad and rich curriculum; the school timetable has been designed to ensure that there is room for special projects and enrichment and club activities, working with some of the most prestigious organisations in London. Our sponsors UBS, a leading global financial services firm have led the establishment of our school from the onset and they continue to significantly support us.
