Overview

We are seeking a dedicated High Level Order Picker to join our busy warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing products for dispatch, ensuring efficient warehouse operations. Duties

Accurately pick items from stock using warehouse management systems and handheld scanners. Load and unload goods safely, employing appropriate materials handling techniques Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in accordance with safety protocols (training provided) Prepare orders for shipping by packing items securely and verifying order accuracy Stock shelves and organise inventory to optimise space utilisation Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and record keeping Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse environment Support stock replenishment activities as needed, including heavy lifting of goods

Skills

Proven experience in warehouse operations, including picking & packing, stocking, and materials handling Ability to operate forklift trucks safely (training provided if necessary) Familiarity with warehouse management systems and shipping & receiving procedures Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting equipment issues Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for order accuracy and quality control Physical fitness for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks throughout the shift Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
