Salary -

36,354.00 + 30% Shift Allowance

Pattern of Work -

4 on 4 off 12 hour (Days / Nights)

What you need to know about the role

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Craftsperson to join our Engineering Department based at Skinningrove.



Working under the leadership of the Shift Manager - you will report directly to the Shift Engineer and will be required to carry out a range of electrical maintenance duties to support asset reliability. Your electrical engineering skillset will also be utilised to respond to work arising.



This pivotal role operates in a highly mechanised and automated setting. It demands a deep understanding of health and safety principles, alongside thorough knowledge of all pertinent statutory legislation and company directives. Equally vital is the expertise in identifying hazards and implementing safety procedures tailored to their specific area of responsibility and maintenance tasks.

Demonstrate flexibility within the team and a willingness to undertake training to perform their role effectively. Exhibit a positive approach to their work and contribute positively to the team. Maintain good timekeeping skills.

What we need to know about you

We are seeking a knowledgeable Electrical Craftsperson with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes. Ideal candidates will have completed a recognised apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering and hold relevant qualifications (e.g. City and Guilds, BTEC, ONC/HNC, or NVQ)*. Experience in preventative maintenance, inspection work and breakdown recovery is essential.


Candidates must demonstrate a high level of practical expertise in heavy industrial electrical activities and be proficient in modern maintenance techniques and computer-based management systems (such as SAP).



The successful candidate will work closely with Manufacturing and Day Engineering teams, both collaboratively and independently, to ensure the effective delivery of the Maintenance Strategy. Flexibility to adapt to evolving demands is crucial.
