Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust is seeking a passionate and resilient HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) to join The Change Centre - a specialist alternative provision based at Thorns Collegiate Academy. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people who require a different kind of support to thrive in education.
The Change Centre supports KS3 students at risk of exclusion or disengagement from mainstream education. Through a structured 6-12-week intervention programme, we help students re-engage with learning, develop self-awareness, and build the skills they need to succeed.
We are looking for a creative, compassionate, and experienced educator who can deliver engaging lessons, build strong relationships, and support students with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs.
