About Belmont Park School


Belmont Park is a specialist school for students aged 11-16, all of whom have an Education, Health and


Care Plan (EHCP) and primary needs linked to social, emotional and mental health (SEMH). Many


students also present with co-occurring diagnoses such as ADHD, autism, anxiety.


We are a trauma-informed, relational school community where staff are committed to evidence-based


approaches, meaningful connection with learners, and a relentless drive for progress.

The Role


As HLTA


To complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed academic


interventions under an agreed system of supervision. This may involve planning, preparing and delivering


learning activities for individuals/groups and monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on


pupil's achievement, progress and development.
