THE ROLE
We are looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic person with high standards and the ability to communicate and interact effectively with others as part of our school as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
.
HLTAs lead on implementing high quality provision for all SEND students within the classroom and through delivering 1:1 or small group interventions, where necessary. HLTAs support the SENDCO in their role and work closely with Teaching Assistants (TAs) to support meeting the needs of students within the school.
HLTAs are required to have an Enhanced DBS and to observe and maintain appropriate professional boundaries at all times and avoid behaviour that might be misinterpreted by others. HLTAs will have a professional qualification and good standards of literacy and numeracy.
