We are seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to help us develop and grow our Private Banking business across the Midlands region. The role holder will be based out of the Birmingham office but is expected to travel and work flexibly across the Midlands region. They will report to the Senior Relationship Manager in the Midlands. The target market for the role holder will be UK Resident and UK Domiciled clients with investable assets of between $5m-$50m.

In this role you will:



Provide full-service banking and wealth management services to high-net-worth individuals through the marketing of HSBC Private Bank services. Generate new Assets Under Management (AUM) and increase overall portfolio revenues through growing share of wallet from existing clients Work closely alongside the Senior Relationship Manager who will oversee the overall client relationship. For this role, there will be requirement to undertake client meetings on their own and deliver investment suitability reviews, performance conversations and undertake initial pitch discussions. Work with the Investment Specialist to ensures the client's objectives are met through the portfolio allocation. Ensure clients understand and are aware of their level of risk. Identifies opportunities to meet the credit needs of clients seeking secured and unsecured loans for a variety of purposes. Works closely with other Bank Departments to maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:



Investment advisory and relationship management experience gained within a UK Private Banking business, specifically in terms of pitching investment capabilities to clients - essential Excellent and demonstrable working knowledge of discretionary investment product solutions and the UK regulatory environment essential CISI RDR Level 4 qualified - essential Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills A proven ability to manage the demands of senior internal stakeholders Own transport and ability to travel across the East Midlands region

This role is based in Birmingham but will require frequent travel across the East Midlands.
