Main Duties & Responsibilities:



Plan and deliver effective coaching sessions to children of all abilities as part of the Caterham School Hockey Academy Ensure that players experience a safe, inclusive fun and positive environment in which they can progress their hockey skills. Assess and monitor player performance, provide feedback and guidance to support player development. Provide coaching in Term Time and School Holidays throughout the year

Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:



Minimum Level 1 Hockey Coaching Qualification, though a higher qualification is desirable. Has played hockey at a high level and ideally has experience coaching in schools or clubs. Understand what is required to successfully develop players to progress and enjoy their hockey through your own playing experience Be prepared to undergo an enhanced DBS check Can work as lead coach or as part of a team to deliver first class Hockey coaching Be able to coach Academy sessions at Caterhams family of schools. Hardworking and reliable with high standards and excellent attention to detail Excellent organisational, timekeeping and communication skills Inspirational, enthusiastic, and a positive role model.
