Job Description

We are looking to appoint a Holiday Activities and Food Programme Co-ordinator to join our team to cover Maternity Leave on a fixed term contract until 31st March 2027.
The Holiday Activities and Food programme (HAF) is a Department for Education funded programme that provides free holiday clubs for Reception to year 11 pupils in receipt of benefits-related free school meals, during Easter, Summer and Christmas holiday periods.
The Holiday Activities and Food programme is designed to ensure children and young people:
Eat more healthily over the school holidays
Be more active during the school holidays
Take part in engaging and enriching activities which support the development of resilience, character and wellbeing along with their wider educational attainment.
Be safe and not to be socially isolated
Have a greater knowledge of health and nutrition
In this post you will lead on the coordination of the development and delivery of the Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme in Middlesbrough and Redcar and Cleveland.
You will work with a wide range of external partners and stakeholders to ensure high quality HAF provision is in place and you will use data to identify and target children and young people who are in receipt of FSM (Free School Meals).
