Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Holiday Camp Area Manager to oversee operations of their region . The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and management skills, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and enriching environment for all children attending. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively support multiple sites ensuring best practice is in place.

Duties

Supervise and lead camp staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality programming. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by adhering to health and safety regulations. Manage daily operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and conflict resolution. Foster a positive camp culture that encourages teamwork, inclusivity, and personal growth. Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and stakeholders regarding camp activities and camper progress. Monitor children behaviour and address any issues promptly to maintain a harmonious environment. Complete monitoring audits, provide feedback and follow up on progress. Work closely with the Director and report as required. Provide support in Ofsted inspections and LA visits Must be able to work all school holidays.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory or management role. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in planning activities and managing resources. Effective communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and staff members. A passion for working with children. Relevant certifications in first aid or safeguarding would be advantageous.
