Job Description

Position Overview:

We are looking for a small team of caring, reliable, and diligent freelance drivers on fixed contracts to support our mission of delivering hot meals and recourses to children from low-income families attending our Holiday Camps across London and Surrey.

In addition to delivering meals, you will manage the delivery and return of equipment at the start and end of each camp period.

Remuneration:

Pay is based on the length and complexity of your route, starting from

62.50 per day

for the shortest routes. Pay will be structured to reflect the distance traveled and the time required to complete your deliveries.

Typically between

9:30 AM and 1:00 PM

Start - Alexandra Primary in Kingston upon Thames

drop 1: Lewisham (Ladywell area)

drop 2: Greenwich (Thamesmead area)

Requirements:

A valid UK driving licence. Unrestricted access to your own vehicle. Fully insured, including

Hire and Reward

coverage (or ability to add it to your policy). Ability to pass or hold a valid

Enhanced DBS Check

, as you will be working with children, young persons, and/or vulnerable adults. Right to work in the UK.

What We're Looking For:

A friendly, polite, and positive attitude. Strong route management skills. Excellent organisational skills and self-discipline. An understanding of careful food handling to avoid cross-contamination (allergy awareness). A serious approach to hygiene, with a willingness to complete relevant training. Willingness to provide your mobile number for collection/drop-off updates and tracking (via iPhone, text, WhatsApp, etc.).
