Non term time holiday club with SEN children
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess strong leadership skills. This role involves supporting the daily operations within a nursery or early childhood education setting, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children. The Assistant will play a crucial role in managing activities, communicating effectively with both children and parents, and contributing to the overall development of the children in our care.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning and implementing educational activities that promote children's development. Support the lead educator in managing classroom dynamics and maintaining a positive learning environment. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the nursery or educational setting. Help manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities. Foster an inclusive atmosphere that encourages children's social skills and emotional growth. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the classroom and play areas.

Requirements

Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide young learners. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, particularly in English. A background in early childhood education or related fields is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail. A genuine drive to support children's learning and development through engaging activities. A nurturing attitude towards children, fostering a supportive environment for their growth.
